In addition to the [animatronic Grogu](Animatronic Grogu DE.md), another project I have created with the open source software Animatronic Workbench, an animatronic puppet show.
The idea
The basic idea is to use hand puppets without having to adjust them.
For this purpose, the dolls are equipped with a frame that controls the movement of the doll. The shape roughly corresponds to a human hand, so that everything fits well into each other. The movements are controlled by an ESP32 and the movements are controlled with the Animatronic Workbench.
The hardware
As with the animatronic Grogu I use STS bus servos as servos.
Two of them are responsible for the up/down movement of the head and at the same time the opening of the mouth. Two more servos are used to rotate and tilt the head. The servos are bolted to each other with standard servo connectors.
The artificial fingers on the two upper servos are made of wood.
